WASP – Web Analytics Solution Profiler

Handy little tool availble here;

http://wasp.immeria.net/

Basically it allows you to verify what is sent to Web Analytics tools via the page headers and also describes what some of the variables which are sent mean. it’s not complete yet (as it’s still being developed) but it’s quite handy already. Remember to refresh each time you open a new site. I found a few glitches, however this will be really good once all the variables for each tool are described and the glitches are ironed out.

I’m getting close to the next release. I completed a round of tests for nearly 50 WA solutions. I’m digging out some glitches with the way tabs are handled and will be able to package the next release. Look for it soon!

Other one of my handy-useful tools: http://www.fiddlertool.com/
It´s a tool developed by microsoft engineers but it´s not an “official” MS software. It can be customized and the version 2.x is very reliable.

I´ve tried WASP some months ago and i´ve liked very much. Mainly by the focus on Webanalytics (Fiddler is a generic packet sniffer tool). But, after the test, i missed the customization features of Fiddler.
But, I can see that Stéphane are improving and working on it. I´m waiting the next release!
Stéphane, I guess your tool is the only one focused in web analytics profiling and sniffing. Great Work! And… please tell us when the next release comes!
